What do you collect?; Or do you even collect?

Lord of life & death Posts: 833 Group: Administrators Member #21 Joined: Dec 9, 2009	Well just for fun do any of you actually collect pokemon cards or maybe even use them in some sense or another because I know when I was younger that I used to collect the cards but not because I liked them or even wanted to play them, it actually a more greedier reason as in I wanted to collect them so that I could sell them latter in life when they'd be worth some money and truth be told I still have them laying around somewhere in my house and yes I know where they are. So people do you collect the cards for some reason or another?

Posts: 1,419 Group: Administrators Member #12 Joined: Dec 9, 2009	I used to collect pokemon, digimon, yugioh, neopets (yeah! neopets!), and, most recently, magic: the gathering. Out of all of them I like magic the best. It's more balanced. Yes, it has infinite combos but the card components of them are usually hard to find.

I got rid of all of those, and about 2 years later, I started collecting Yu-Gi-Oh cards. I stuck with those for about a year, until I lost almost all the ones I had. Then, I moved onto Duel Masters. That lasted about 2 months. I went back to Pokemon in about 2007, when I went to a collector's convention in Denver and there was a giant Pokemon TCG booth thing, where I got a whole bunch of free cards. So people do you collect the cards for some reason or another? HA! Sucks for you because the old cards are worth jack now. I know because, i have tons of the old pokemon cards. I used to play back when i was a kid. I still have my 8 Badges. It's awesome because they were actually pins, not those cheap circle pins. These were real metal, shape carved pins. I want to start playing again. But eh, someday. For now, i just collect really rare cd's, favorite band cd's, rare Vinyls, and shoes(Jordans).
